About the board
In 1977 the Government of Punjab separated the Bahawalpur division from the Multan board and approved a separate board for it. A camp office opened in Multan in July 1977. The board started working in Bahawalpur on 3 February 1978 and held its first exam, a supplementary exam, later that year.
The board moved to its own campus in 1985 and to its current main building in March 1993. It serves the districts of Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar and Rahim Yar Khan.
Its main job is to hold the matric and intermediate exams on time and declare their results. It also offers online services for rechecking, corrections, duplicate documents and verification.

How Bahawalpur Board announces results
Results for 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th class, from both first and second annual exams, are published on the board’s results website, where you search by roll number. News reports give the result SMS code as 800298: send your roll number to it.
