About the board
BISE Faisalabad was set up in 1988, when the Faisalabad division was separated from the Sargodha board. Like the other Punjab boards, it works under the Punjab Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education Act 1976.
The board is an autonomous body under the Government of Punjab. It does not get government grants and runs on the fees it collects for exams and services. Its main office is on Jhang Road, Faisalabad, in a campus it moved into in 2011.
It serves the districts of Faisalabad, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh and Chiniot. It conducts the matric and intermediate exams, grants affiliation to schools and colleges, issues certificates and gives scholarships and prizes to position holders.
