About the board
BISE Sargodha was established in 1968. It first covered both the Sargodha and Rawalpindi divisions. It started in rented buildings in Satellite Town, Sargodha, and moved to its present campus on Faisalabad Road in 1975.
Two new boards were later carved out of it: Rawalpindi in 1978 and Faisalabad in 1988. Today it serves the four districts of the Sargodha division: Sargodha, Khushab, Mianwali and Bhakkar.
The board conducts the matric and intermediate exams for public and private institutions, announces results, and handles verification, migration and record corrections for its students.
